2) Sense of sight

Dogs have five times better night vision than humans, although humans have better vision in daylight. Some breeds are sighthounds which rely on their sight and speed for hunting and searching more than their sense of smell.

Additionally, dogs have a 270-degree field of vision in comparison to the human’s 180-degree vision. This increases their field of peripheral vision.

Often dogs get distracted because of this as they can see more than us. They are also endowed with three pairs of eyelids. An additional membrane helps protect and moisten their eyes.
